Descendant of Antoine Pepin. I travelled to Ste. Famille on the Isle of Orleans years ago and met a woman who was at the church there who also was a descendant of Antoine....une cousine! If you haven't been there, the cemetery by the church is full of family names and gives one the true feeling of belonging. The church also has a placard with the Lachance name.

Hello to all the Lachance/LaChance families. I was born in ottawa,ontario. I was born with the small c spelling,however i was adopted and my name was changed. I found out in my late 20s that my name was lachance so i changed my name to LaChance,years later when i met my brothers and sisters i found out it should have been small c. I say oh well im still lachance and thats the best part.
